Its been quite a time since it happened, but i never got the right time to tell you a story about me and my way to a game I really wanted to own in my life.
No, its not a console game, its a *takes a deep breath* -PC GAME-.
I know i know, many collectors wont understand, but there are quite a few PC which have a decent value for me. And this game of course, has a big value for me, since i love the game.
It’s called – R – o – s – e – n – k – r – e – u – z – s – t – i – l – e – t – t – e –
[ Rosenkreuzstilette – ローゼンクロイツスティレッテ ]
and it’s a japanese PC game. How i found it? Well,
the short story.
As you may know, i’m a “from time to time” twitch streamer, speedrunner, and casual gamer. At that specific time i was deeply into one game: Mega Man 2, and i speedran it for quite a few times.
My personal best for a zipperless any% run is 34:50 which is quite bad but atleast sub 35 Minutes!

And yeah as a collector you usually also love Mega Man aswell, so i double love it! Especially the second one~
And i don’t really quite remember how i got into Rosenkreuzstilette, but somehow i got, and its basically a japanese clone/rip off, or atleast very much INSPIRED by the NES Mega Man series.
For example:
This is the boss selection menu. On the left side Mega Man 2 and on the right side Rosenkreuzstilette
and the game itself plays like a Mega Man, the enemys are acting like the ones in mega man, even the bosses are very similar to mega man. But that doesnt make it boring. It’s a whole different art style, AND its freakin hard. This game is really hard, but i love it. Apparently for us – europeans, there is only one option to purchase this game. You can buy a download link by a japanese site and pay 10€ for a non physical copy, which i did, because i never playd it back then. And i was so amazed by this game, that i needed a real retail copy. But its not possible, this game is very rar, even in japan.
But believe me this game means a lot o me, and i was totally sure i would never be able to purchase it, since i don’t know anyone in japan, and i don’t speak japanese aswell.~
But there is hope guys, i’m writing this for all of you who need something, mainly known in japan, or asia, and don’t have any clue how to get it!
And here we come to the special guest of this blog entry. Ken Yoshi from japan,
a blogger, ebay seller, a friendly japanese guy from osaka! He searched for me, i dont wanna know HOW LONG, but he got this game for me, and he sold it for a very fair price. He is that kind of seller, who looks for you, lists you many articles, talks to you about the shipping procedure and how it would be best, and is always nice and friendly, even if you say no, you dont buy what he found for you.
He’s always friendly responding, and i’m still in contact with him whenever i need something from japan.
